Warranty & RMA Procedures*
We stand by our products 100%. All of our lamps are covered under a 180-day warranty from date of shipping. If there are any problems during the 180-day warranty period please call or email us immediately. Always inspect and install merchandise immediately when it arrives to ensure that it is the correct part and is in working order. Please note that we will not accept returns--or process a credit or replacement--without a valid RMA issued to you by Projector Lamps. See RMA Procedures below.
It is our policy to receive your return before shipping a replacement. If you want a replacement sent immediately, you can opt to purchase the replacement and receive credit for the returned merchandise when we receive it. The warranty covers defective merchandise only. Projector Lamps is not responsible for damages—physical or otherwise—to the projector or TV during use or installation of the merchandise.
The warranty does not cover:
- Shipping costs. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred for the merchandise, including shipping a return with an RMA.
- Shipping costs are not refunded when you return merchandise for credit
- If you chose our FREE Shipping option, an $8.75 shipping charge will be deducted when you return merchandise for credit
- Merchandise that is defective or damaged due to:
- The malfunction of the projector or TV (i.e. cooling or power supply issues)
- Improper installation or abuse/misuse
- Acts of nature or power issues (i.e. lightning, electrical stress or power surges)
- Merchandise damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging. Failure to double-box voids the warranty.
Possible fees and charges that might apply:
- An $8.75 shipping charge applies when returning merchandise for credit and the FREE Shipping option was chosen with the original purchase, regardless of reason for return
- A $20.00 reboxing fee applies if the original Projector Lamp box is damaged, written on, missing, or unusable
- A 20% restocking fee applies when returning merchandise that is in working order.
- Keep in mind that shipping charges are non-refundable and will not be refunded when returning merchandise for credit.
For Technical Issues or Defective Merchandise:
If we are unable to resolve the problem via technical support over the phone or email, we will provide you with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) with instructions on how to ship your return back to us. See RMA Procedures below.
If Merchandise Was Damaged in Shipping:
Always inspect and install merchandise immediately when it arrives to ensure that it is the correct part and is in working order. We must be contacted within 5 business days of arrival if merchandise was damaged during shipping. We will provide you with an RMA with instructions on how to ship the damaged merchandise back to us. Once we receive your return we will ship a replacement. See RMA Procedures below.
If Merchandise Was Ordered in Error OR is No Longer Needed:
Always inspect and install merchandise immediately when it arrives to ensure that it is the correct part and is in working order. We must be contacted within 30 days from the shipping date if you would like to return merchandise for credit and/or exchange it for the correct part. We will provide you with an RMA with instructions on how to ship your return back to us. See RMA Procedures below.
If You Receive the Wrong Merchandise Due to Our Error:
Always inspect and install merchandise immediately when it arrives to ensure that it is the correct part and is in working order. We must be contacted within 5 business days of arrival if the merchandise you receive is not what you ordered. We will provide you with an RMA and a pre-paid shipping label with instructions on how to ship the wrong merchandise back to us. Once we receive your return we will ship a replacement. See RMA Procedures below.
If You Do Not Receive Your Merchandise:
Contact us immediately if you do not receive your order when you expect it. Claims must be submitted within 3 business days of the delivery date that was issued by the shipping carrier. Track your shipment and contact us so we can help you with locating your order. Tracking information is provided on your Projector Lamps receipt via email at the time of purchase.
RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Procedures:

Returns must be shipped within 5 business days of receiving the RMA or it will be RETURNED TO SENDER.
When you receive an RMA:
- Print and read the instructions on the RMA
- Double-box the merchandise using the original, undamaged packaging your order was shipped in to avoid the $20.00 restocking/reboxing fee. Use packing material to protect the merchandise
- Write the RMA # on the outside of the box where it will be visible during shipping
- Ship your return within 5 business days of receiving the RMA
- Obtain a tracking number so you can follow your return, and keep on file for your records
When we receive your return, we will test it and issue a credit or replacement, and/or apply fees and charges, as dictated per the policies outlined in the warranty above.

- A 25% fee for bulbs returned in working order
For Technical Issues or Defective Merchandise:
The warranty for qualified bulbs is dependent upon the warranty (when available) from the bulb manufacturer. Contact us immediately at 610-444-3056 or sales@projectorlamps.com. If your request is approved by the bulb manufacturer, we will send you an RMA. You will need to follow the RMA Procedures outlined below. Your bulb will be tested by the manufacturer, and a fee of 25% will be assessed for returned bulbs that are in working order. All defective lamps are reviewed, tested and replaced on a case by case basis.
