Shipping Rates and Information

FREE FedEx Ground shipping is available for all TV and projector lamp orders.  Other FedEx services, including overnight delivery, and US Mail options are also offered, see here for details.

When does my order ship?

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 5:00 pm ET will ship out the same day.  Orders placed overnight or on the weekend/holidays will ship out the next business day. will send you the tracking number when your order is shipped.  If you registered on our website when you placed your order, you can also login and find tracking information and order history on your account.

Can you ship to my APO or FPO address?

We can ship to overseas military and government addresses via US Mail.

Can you ship to Canada and other countries?

We can ship to Canada, but we do not ship to other international customers.  Canadian customers can place their order on our website.

Payment methods and security

Online orders must pay by credit card or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express) or PayPal.  The security of your information is of paramount concern to us.  Your information is protected by SSL encryption by AlphaSSL.  Our employees do not save or have access directly to your credit/debit/PayPal information.

Credit terms are available to schools, government offices, and approved business accounts.  Contact Us to find out more about our lines of credit.  Business accounts will be reviewed for a credit check before approval. 

Sales Tax

Projectorlamps collects tax for shipments within Pennsylvania.  Tax is not added for other states, although you may be required to make payment to your state.  If you are in PA and are tax-exempt, please Contact Us

Which lamp do I need?

The best way to determine which lamp you need is to first find the model number on the back of your projector or TV.  Then search for the model number on our website and you will find your lamp.  If you have the lamp number, you can search with that as well.

What if you don’t have my lamp in stock right now?

If we do not have your item in stock, you can still place your order.  Your item will be placed on backorder and a new lamp will be reserved for you.  As soon as we can, usually within a matter of a few days, we will ship your backordered item by the shipping method you requested and send you the tracking number.  If you are ordering more than one lamp, we may partially ship the items that are available and partial backorder the remaining lamps.  Partial backorders are shipped by FedEx Ground and there is no additional shipping fee unless you upgrade the shipping method.

I made a mistake on my order, can I change it?

If your package has not been picked up by the shipper, we can usually help you with a change to your order.  Call us as soon as possible at 610-444-3056.

I received a damaged item, what should I do?

We ask that you inspect your package when you get it and contact us immediately if the lamp is damaged.  We have a limited time in which to submit a claim with FedEx.  Projectorlamps can send you a new lamp and may request that you send back the damaged lamp.

My lamp stopped working already, what should I do?

If your lamp never worked or failed working within six months, review our troubleshooting suggestions.  If the lamp still does not work, contact us for an RMA number and instructions.  We may do additional troubleshooting with you before replacing your lamp.

What’s your warranty?

Most of our TV and projector lamps come with a 180-day warranty against defect.  Details can be found here.  We will let you know if your specific item has a different warranty.  The highlights of our warranty:

  • Lamps are covered for 180 days against defect. If troubleshooting indicates the lamp may be defective, we can replace it. Contact us for an RMA number and instructions.
  • Lamps that are not needed (if there was another problem with your projector, for instance) may be returned for a refund within 30 days; a restocking fee will apply. Contact us for an RMA.
  • Special order items or quantities may have a different warranty, and we will let you know if it does.
  • Specialty Bulbs (bare bulbs) may have different warranty terms.

Is my personal information secure with

We only share your personal information to the degree that is necessary to obtain approval on your credit card and get your package delivered to you.  We do not share or sell your information to anyone. We may send you a promotional email if you agreed to “opt-in” when you registered on our website.
