Finally got around to swapping out the old bulb! This Planar lamp housing feels surprisingly solid, a definite step up from the generic one I tried a while back. The Osram bulb seems securely mounted, and overall the whole assembly inspires confidence. Projectorlamps.com came through with a quality replacement this time, so movie night is back on!
