Well, the old lamp was definitely shot, but this Osram P-VIP replacement from Projectorlamps.com seems solid. The build feels just as good as the original, and after a few hours, the image is bright and consistent again, which is a relief! The customer should be good to go for another few thousand hours of presentations.
